New Post, New Bathroom
Wow- it's been awhile since I posted! I was swamped with work right after the holidays. Things are cooling off now- so much so that I encourage you to check out my links to the right of the page!
We finished fixing up our upstairs bathroom. Of course it was a lot more work than I anticipated. The worst was removing the wallpaper and prepping the walls. It's a large room and took a lot of time and patience. Neither one is something I have in abundance! We removed most of the weird cabinets in the room and a makeshift closet thing. I painted it all in Historic Tan and the cabinet in Crisp Linen. All the hardware was purchased on Ebay about 2 1/2 years ago! I am very pleased with the results and I saved a lot of $$ by deciding to embrace my brass fixtures. I did almost all the work, with the exception of the medicine cabinet and towel bars. Bill hung those because I am terrible at hanging anything straight.
Here is a slideshow with old pictures to give you an idea of what I had to work with-
PEACE OUT!

Oh my gosh, what a huge, amazing difference!!!! I absolutley love your bathroom - I would just hang out in it if I were you. :)
It looks fabulous, Elizabeth! Excellent job. I'll bet it's a huge relief to be done, too.
Yeah it's a HUGE relief to be finished.
I LOVE having a chair to sit in while Ashlyn is in the bath :o)
Wow Wow Wow, Elizabeth. You've worked SO hard. You must be very proud.
